Why the Flame Lily?

So when I was mulling over the logo for Mona Delano, I was searching for something that embodied the “tomboy chic” style of the brand. I don’t know what made me think of it, but I decided a poisonous flower would be the perfect representation, and did some research. There are a lot of poisonous flowers out there. A few looked intriguing, but the flame lily stood out. The rough exterior (the flame and poisonous properties) and the vulnerability of a flower embody the persona of Mona Delano.
